Peter Alliss' "pet" charities are both connected with powered wheelchairs for disabled young people. The Alliss Masters' Wheelchair Classic holds its final at Old Thorns Golf and Country Estate, Liphook, Hampshire, following national elimination competitions open to every club now extending into Ireland. Press release in 2018 for the first big tournament in 2019 with contributing clubs and chairs being donated to Irish disadvantaged children.

He is patron of the Blind Golfers Association, DebRA (fighting the terrible skin disease of the young, epidermolysis bullosa), Battle of Britain Historical Society (their Trophy competition is run nationally at supporting clubs), the Prostate Project, the Wildlife Ark Trust (saving the red squirrel). Peter is also a supporter of many other charities.
